This older hotel has been nicely renovated and is suitable for basic, clean motel.

I had read reviews of hotel after booking and they were not good. I was expecting to be disappointed. For the price and location it was fine. The room was clean. I wouldn't have expected much more. I would stay there again if traveling to that area. Parking was tight but fine if people with large vehicles would follow the signs that say small cars only. No hair dryer, but made do. Nice, clean and cheap place to stay while in town. If you're going to spend most of the day away from the hotel, why pay too much. It has a bed and bathroom. There's probably more to offer but I didn't see/use it. ...read more

I was put in a non-smoking room but it smelled off - whether it was cigarette smoke or just strong disinfectant. Also there were at least two cigarette burn holes in the comforter. Air Conditioning was either on or off - no temperature controls. ...read more

For the cheap price, I am happy. The rooms were nice & very clean. The staff was helpful & friendly. The parking lot was too small & definitely not designed well & when you are in your room, you can hear everything going on outside & in the rooms surrounding you, but for the cheap price right in the Chicago area, I'm satisfied. ...read more

The hotel's breakfast staff was rude and not helpful. She was more interested in talking to her husband/boyfriend than helping the guests. We had to beg for milk for the cereal, there was no juice and she would not put out any waffle mix for the waffle maker. When she did put 1 container out she would not let me make my own waffle and practically shoved me out of the way to get to the waffle maker. I will not ever stay in this hotel again. ...read more

Staff was friendly, rooms were updated and clean. Breakfast was good (muffins, waffles, cereal). The parking was very small and confined, and the outside was a little runned down.
